Fasting to protest mountaintop coal removal
Members of Earth Quaker Action Team (EQAT) of Merion Meeting will be fasting in the meetinghouse today and tomorrow to protest mountaintop coal removal. They will be reading poetry and making hourly walks to PNC Bank in protest of its support of this environmental problem through its lending practices.
