We celebrated spring and the blooming of our cherry trees today with a hanami-style picnic in the burying ground after meeting for worship. Everyone brought food to eat and share, with beverages provided by the social committee. Shamsher Tandon provided his famous ambrosia of fruits and other natural snacks.
It was wonderful to share a meal of friendship, with petals gently fluttering down on us like pink snow. Thanks to Melinda Yin for organizing this!
